    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth – How to Skip Nibelheim Flashback

    If you played the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo, you can skip a portion of the Nibelheim flashback in the full game. This feature isn’t obvious and doesn’t appear right away, so we’ve compiled everything you need to know below.

    Upon starting the game, you’ll play through the opening segments and start in the midst of the Nibelheim flashback. Here, you won’t be able to skip through Chapter 1 until you encounter your first enemy at Mt. Nibel. This is done when Cloud steps up and tells Sephiroth and Tifa that he’s got it.

    At this point, the game will pop up with dialogue that says the following:

    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Demo saved data confirmed. Players who have completed the demo can skip the mako reactor investigation and resume play from the village. Note that skipping will not affect gameplay. Skip to the village?

    If you choose to skip, you’ll immediately be moved to the night when Sephiroth burns down Nibelheim. This will save approximately an hour and a half of gameplay.
