Essentially, this system allows you to romance a character in the game and bring them along to the Skywheel Date at the Gold Saucer! Every party member except for Cait Sith is available to romance in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. This means that you can share an intimate moment on the Skywheel at the Gold Saucer. Check out the list of these options below:

- Barret Wallace
- Yuffie Kisaragi
- Red XIII
Unfortunately, Cait Sith, Vincent Valentine, and Cid Highwind are not available to romance since they do not have Bonds of Friendship gauges. However, you can actually take the three of them on a Gold Saucer date! This can be accessed after beating the game and selecting the group as a setting for Chapter 12.
While each date sequence with these characters isn’t always romantic, there are plenty of delightful and heartwarming conversations to be seen. We highly recommend for you to experience each date after beating the main story, as they all have something to offer.
