D3 Publisher announced Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 will launch on May 23 in Japan and September 26 worldwide for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Pre-orders are currently available now in the PlayStation Store for the Standard and Deluxe Editions.
Update: Clouded Leopard Entertainment confirms Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 will launch on May 23 in Asia alongside the Japanese release. The Asia version supports English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean language options and voice-overs (Thanks, Gematsu!)
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is the latest game in the long-running EDF franchise. Gaiarch emerges from within the Earth in Earth Defense Force: World Brothers sequel, causing it to shatter into pieces. Players will have access to over 100 missions and several different classes, including four classes from Earth Defense Force 6, as they attempt to bring the Earth back together.
Earth Defense Force World Brothers 2 Pre-Orders
Pre-orders for Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 are available now for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in the PlayStation Store. The digital Standard Edition costs $49.99, while the Deluxe Edition costs $74.99. The Deluxe Edition includes the Season Pass, which is a $24.99 value. The Nintendo Switch version are $10 cheaper at $39.99 and $64.99 respectively, but pre-orders are not live yet in the eShop.
