Tokyo Xanadu eX+ Sequel Teased Once Again by Falcom

    What is Falcom cooking?

A sequel to Tokyo Xanadu eX+ has seemingly been teased again by Nihon Falcom on the company’s official Twitter account. The title is teased as “Tokyo Xanadu K,” but an official title is still unknown.

The Japanese physical release of Tokyo Xanadu eX+ for Nintendo Switch featured a bonus B6 ring notebook known as the “Otherworld Notebook -T.X.K-.” On the cover of the notebook, the tagline reads “You remember what Rem said, don’t you?”. The tagline is also prominence on Falcom’s March 2024 calendar.

Falcom March 2024 Calendar Teases Tokyo Xanadu eX+ Sequel

Once more, the calendar teases a sequel to Tokyo Xanadu eX+ with two mysterious character silhouettes. These silhouettes don’t appear to resemble anyone from Tokyo Xanadu eX+, but the mention of Rem certainly implies a potential new game. Tokyo Xanadu eX+ fans may download the new March 2024 calendar at Falcom’s official website. The website contains the calendar with various aspect ratios for mobile and desktop platforms.

This June, Tokyo Xanadu eX+ will be available physically and digitally for Nintendo Switch in the west. A 4-CD set featuring all 88 songs from the game’s original soundtrack will be available exclusively on the Aksys Games Online Store. Pre-orders are available now for $69.99 while supplies last.

As previously announced, the Nintendo Switch version includes high-speed mode found in Ys and Trails games. Moreover, the game includes all previously released DLC including costumes and item sets. Fans can expect a new, revamped localization of the story as well!

Tokyo Xanadu eX+ made its Nintendo Switch debut on June 29, 2023 in Japan. Just one month later, Clouded Leopard Entertainment released the Traditional Chinese and Korean versions of Tokyo Xanadu eX+ for Switch.

Lastly, Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC via Steam in the west.
