Tales of Arise Coming to Xbox Game Pass on February 20

    Also coming to PlayStation Plus.

Bandai Namco announced Tales of Arise is coming to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on February 20. The version being added to the subscription service appears to be the base version, which doesn’t include the Beyond the Dawn expansion.

PlayStation recently confirmed that Tales of Arise will be available at no additional cost for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members on February 20. Tales of Zestiria, Vesperia, and Symphonia are also available with PlayStation’s subscription service that same day. Fortunately, Xbox Game Pass subscribers won’t have to miss out on the latest Tales of entry either.

Tales of Arise Joins Xbox Game Pass

The official Japanese Tales of Twitter account and Xbox Japan Twitter account confirm that Tales of Arise will be available on February 20 for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Only the base version of Tales of Arise was mentioned, so players will likely need to buy the Beyond the Dawn expansion to play the latest content after finishing the main game.

The Tales of Arise Beyond the Dawn DLC is available right now starting at $29.99 in the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam. Players gain access to 6 additional costumes, the Travel Support Pack, and the Silver Weapon Collection by purchasing the Beyond the Dawn DLC. For those wanting to play the game and DLC for the first time, various digital editions are available featuring the new expansion and the base game.

In the Tales of Arise Beyond the Dawn expansion, Alphen and his friends encounter a strange girl of both Dahnan and Renan blood named Nazamil. Players will learn more about this mysterious character in the new expansion, and various sub quests will delve deeper into the game’s world.

Lastly, Tales of Arise is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam worldwide.
