Aksys Games and RareBreed Makes Games announced Blazing Strike has been delayed to summer 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The game was supposed to release in 2023, before being delayed once again.
Blazing Strike features GGPO rollback netcode, a solution found in multiple fighting games like The King of Fighters XV and Melty Blood: Type Lumina. The game was slated to launch in fall 2023 before being delayed to spring 2023, but updates remained scarce throughout the year. Aksys Games confirms another delay to the title, as RareBreed Makes Games needs more time to polish the new title.
Blazing Strike Delayed Once Again
Blazing Strike will release in summer 2024 digitally and physically. The Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 versions will be sold physically at the Aksys Games Online Store. Pre-orders are available right now for the $39.99 standard edition and $59.99 limited edition. Limited edition contents include a full color 112-page artbook, a soundtrack CD with an original illustration cover, and a set of 14 collectible character cards.
