Shangri-La Frontier Sunraku Nendoroid Releases in August 2024

Good Smile Company announced pre-orders for the new Shangri-La Frontier Sunraku Nendoroid figure are now live with a confirmed release window for August 2024! The figure announcement comes just as the second cour of the anime series continues with a new run of episodes.

Katarina began the Shangri-La Frontier web novel series on the “Let’s Be Novelists” website in May 2017. Three years later, the manga adaptation by Ryosuke Fuji began in Weekly Shonen Magazine in July 2020. The anime premiered on October 1 as a two-cour series, and the first cour ran for 13 episodes. 

Shangri-La Frontier Sunraku Nendoroid

Pre-orders for the Shangri-La Frontier Sunraku Nendoroid figure are now available at Good Smile Company’s International and US shops. The new figure will release first in Japan in August 2024 for ¥7,200, and the US shop will begin shipping the figure in Q1 2025 for $47.99. Pre-orders include a special “Critical” effect sheet for Sunraku. All Sunraku figures include a small Emul figure as well. 

FZMZ and icy perform the opening theme song “Danger Danger for the second cour of Shangri-La Frontier. ReoNa performs the ending theme song “Gajumaru ∼Heaven in the Rain∼.” Both of the new theme songs for the Shangri-La Frontier second cour began to play in episode 14.

New episodes of the Shangri-La Frontier anime series air weekly on Sundays at 5 p.m. JST in Japan across MBS and TBS networks. Fans outside of Japan may watch the Shangri-La Frontier anime on Crunchyroll. A total of 13 episodes were be released in the first cour, and another 13 episodes are expected in the second cour.
