    Dragon Quest Builders Coming to PC on February 13

    Includes features from the mobile version.

    Square Enix announced the original Dragon Quest Builders game is coming to PC via Steam on February 13. The PC version will include features and content added in the 2022 mobile release. 

    Like the original Dragon Quest game, Dragon Quest Builders is set in the world of Alefgard. However, the game follows a parallel ending to the original game, which sees the world overrun by monsters The player’s builder character must rebuild Alefgard from the ground up for the next hero. 

    Dragon Quest Builders PC Version

    Nearly eight years after the game’s initial release in Japan, Dragon Quest Builders will finally be available on PC via Steam worldwide. The PC version includes upgraded crafting features and the Terra Incognita DLC from the 2022 mobile version. Players may build with nearly double the height of blocks stacked on their creations when compared to the original release. Additional features include single mouse-click inputs for block placements, an Undo button, Big Bash function from Dragon Quest Builders 2, collectible items, and much more. 

    The additional content in “Terra Incognita” includes:

    • Boss Monster Model Set – Builders can unpack several giant posable monster figures that can be added to their worlds.
    • Astronomy Set – Builders can light up the night sky with ten stars and planets to bring the beauty of the galaxy to their backyard.
    • Pixel Ring – More than just a pretty accessory, Builders can wear a Pixel Ring that grants higher number of “pixels” when defeating an enemy in “Terra Incognita”, which they can then use to create special items on the “Dragon Quest Game Pack” workstation.
    • Magic Carpet – Builders can use a magic carpet as they observe, build, and explore their structures from the sky, as well as listen to special music as they travel.

    Those who haven’t played the either of the games may purchase the Dragon Quest Builders + Dragon Quest Builders 2 bundle. Those who’ve already purchase Dragon Quest Builders 2 may also purchase the original game for a discounted price on Steam. Pre-orders are available now for the standalone game and the new bundle.
