HoYoverse announced Genshin Impact Version 4.4 “Vibrant Harriers Aloft in Spring Breeze” will launch on January 31 featuring the new Chenyu Vale region, the return of Lantern Rite, and several free rewards.
The Genshin Impact Version 4.4 Special Program livestream was eventful, as fans saw the reveal of the new Chenyu Vale region and redeemed new limited-time promo codes. The update focuses on the Liyue region in a celebration that sees kites soar in the sky. Several new events, mini-games, and rewards will be free available.
Genshin Impact Version 4.4 Details – Lantern Rite, Chenyu Rite, Free Rewards, and More
2024’s Lantern Rite features a kite theme that welcomes the new year with free rewards on January 31. New events, mini-games, and redeemable items will be available in Genshin Impact Version 4.4, including a new outfit for Xingqiu. Up to 10 Intertwined Fates are available for free from the limited-time daily login event, and an additional 3 Intertwined Fates and 2 Fragile Resin will be sent to all players via the in-game mailbox. Moreover, Ganyu and Shenhe’s new outfits will be available with a limited-time discount at the in-game store.
Additionally, Xianyun and Gaming will make their debut in Genshin Impact Version 4.4. Xianyun is the human form of Cloud Retainer from the Liyue storyline. As a five-star Anemo catalyst wielder, Xianyun can use a flying leap and dash in mid-air to deal Plunging Attack damage and provide heals. On the other hands, Gaming is a four-star Pyro character and claymore user that incorporates Wushou arts in his fighting styles. The first phase of Version 4.4 will feature Xianyun, Gaming, and Nahida’s rerun, while the second phase features Xiao and Yae Miko’s rerun.
Players will have access to the Chenyu Vale, a new region expansion for Liyue. It’s a misty region with vivid hills and waterfalls, thriving villages, and mysteries involving the adepti. The region’s Qiaoying Village is famous for its tea cultivation methods from the adepti. Travel west to reach Yilong Wharf, a major trading hub between Liyue and Fontaine. Other areas are waiting to be explored, but powerful bosses like the Solitary Suanni await. Moreover, HoYoverse has implemented Global Far Fog and Gradient Tint Rock features to make the terrain and atmosphere of Chenyu Vale even better.
