    WiZmans World Re:Try Releasing in May 2024 in Japan

    Limited Edition contents revealed.

    City Connection announced WiZmans World Re:Try will release on May 30, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in Japan. The game will also come to Xbox One and PC via Steam, suggesting a worldwide release is on the way.

    WiZmans World Re:Try was first revealed in September 2022 and slated for a 2023 release across unspecified platforms at the time. However, the remaster received a delay at Tokyo Game Show 2023, pushing the release to 2024.

    WiZmans World Re:Try – New Release Date and Physical Editions

    WiZmans World Re:Try will be available physically and digitally on May 30 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 in Japan. The game will be digital-only on PlayStation 4. The physical Standard Edition will cost 4.950 yen, while the Limited Edition costs 8,580 yen. Limited Edition contents include the physical copy, a two-disc original soundtrack, a download code for the new and original soundtracks, and a B5-size artbook. Xbox One and PC (Steam) versions will release later in 2024.

    • Nintendo Switch digital – 3,980 yen
    • PC (Steam) – 3,980 yen
    • PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5 digital – 3,960 yen
    • Xbox One – 3,950 yen

    During City Connection’s Tokyo Game Show 2023 stage event, the company confirmed that instrumental unit soLi will perform the game’s official theme songs, “Re:Try” and “Antares.” The unit will also perform refined arrangement background music and new background music for WiZmans World Re:Try.

    Jaleco released WiZmans World for Nintendo DS in 2010. The game received high praise from RPG fans at the time, and the remaster aims to enhance this portable classic with improved visuals alongside the new and rearranged BGM. The UI and playability of the title have also been improved.

    Use chain attacks to kill the enemy quickly.
