    The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors Anime Key Visual Revealed

    12 episodes will air on Japanese TV networks.

    Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed a new key visual for The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors TV anime series, which premieres in April. A third theatrical screening for the anime is playing at participating Japanese theaters until January 25. 

    The anime series for The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors mobile game first premiered in Japanese theaters on October 27 with a film encompassing the first four episodes. A second film premiered on December 14 featuring episodes 5 through 8, and the third and film film adapts the last four episodes. 

    The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors Anime Gets Key Visual

    To commemorate the release of the third The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors film, Bandai Namco revealed a new key visual for the TV series. Moreover, the company confirmed that the TV anime will premiere in April 2024 and run for 12 episodes in a single cour. All 12 episodes will air on TV Tokyo, BS11, and BS Nippon TV. A streaming platform for the anime has not been announced, but Crunchyroll seems likely to carry the anime.

    The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Theater director Mankyū is directing the anime at studio Polygon Pictures. Yoichi Kato (The Idolmaster Million Live!) is the scriptwriter for the anime. The anime’s opening theme song is “Tsubasa Gravity.”
