The Pokémon Company has donated 50 million yen to the Japanese Red Cross Society in response to the January 1 Noto Peninsula earthquake. The donation will help people and restore areas affected by the earthquake.
The Pokémon Company’s donation is not the first time they’ve sent money to areas affected by disaster. In 2011, they established the Pokémon With You foundation in response to the Tohoku Earthquake. Their latest donation is also made through the foundation.
Pokémon Company Donates 50 Million After January 1 Earthquake
On January 5, The Pokémon Company announced that they donated 50 million to the Japan Red Cross Society and other organizations. They made the donation in response to the January 1 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. The Pokémon With You Foundation will also continue to support children affected by the earthquake through activities.
On New Years, an earthquake of magnitude 7.6 struck the western coast of Japan, specifically the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture. As of January 5, 94 people have been confirmed dead, including 55 in Wajima. Rescue efforts are still ongoing.
Recently, The Pokémon Company released a new stop-motion series titled Pokémon Concierge. The series is available to watch on Netflix. They describe it as follows:
Growing its diverse lineup of entertainment offerings, The Pokémon Company, in partnership with Netflix, unveiled a brand-new series titled Pokémon Concierge, which expands the Pokémon world with a new storyline and innovative stop-motion animation. Developed in collaboration with dwarf studios, Pokémon Concierge will be set at the Pokémon Resort and follows the story of a concierge named Haru and the many Pokémon that visit as guests.
The cast and staff of the series includes:

Lastly, Pokémon Concierge is available to watch now on Netflix. Netflix has not yet confirmed if the series will be getting new episodes in the future.
