Xbox has announced that Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15, 2024. The reason for the removal is likely due to the imminent release of Persona 3 Reload.
ATLUS initially released Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden in January 2023. The games are available on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Both games serve as a remastered version of the beloved entries in the Persona franchise. Last year, ATLUS officially announced Persona 3 Reload, an exciting remake of the original Persona 3.
Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable Leaving Xbox Game Pass in Two Weeks
On the official Xbox website, the company outlined which games would be leaving their Game Pass service in the next two weeks. The main games leaving are MotoGP 22, Garden Story, Persona 3 Portable, and Persona 4 Golden. All four games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15. The reason for both Persona games’ departure is currently unknown. It is highly likely, however, that it is due to the imminent release of Persona 3 Reload.
Persona 3 Reload, a remake of Persona 3, will launch on February 2, 2024. The game will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Steam describes it as follows:
