    Jack Black is one of the most beloved actors of the 21st century. He’s been in several movies, TV shows, and video games(such as Psychonauts 2). His most recent role was in 2023’s Super Mario Bros. Movie. He played the part of the villainous Bowser alongside Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, and Keegan Michael Key as Toad. His next video game adaptation will be the upcoming live-action Minecraft movie.

    According to Deadline, Jack Black has officially been cast in the upcoming live-action Minecraft film. He will join the movie’s main character, Jason Mamoa, as well as Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen. Jared Hess, the director of Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre, will direct the upcoming film.

    Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have revealed little information about the movie’s story or main characters.     Lastly, the live-action Minecraft movie will release in theaters on April 4, 2025. Warner Bros. will likely reveal the first footage for the movie in the coming months.
