Square Enix has revealed that a New Year event will be available in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis on January 1. The event will feature Yuffie Kisaragi as a boss, alongside new cosmetics.
Following the September 7 launch, Square Enix promised monthly story updates for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis with new events, characters, weapons, and rewards. The new RPG is a remake of the original Final Fantasy VII compilation. It adds new elements and story content, such as Sephiroth’s back story. Ever Crisis will have more new content in January 2024, starting with the New Year update.
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis New Year Event Beginning on Monday
In a new trailer, Square Enix confirmed that the New Year event for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis will begin on January 1. The event will feature fan favorite character, Yuffie Kisaragi, as a boss. New cosmetics will also be included. A “New Year 1-Time-Only” 5-star guaranteed free x10 draw will be available to all players, so there’s plenty of rewards to obtain. Check out the trailer below:

Over seven million players have downloaded Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis thus far. The game is available now on PC via Steam, iOS, and Android. Square will release more story updates for the game in the coming weeks, with the next story chapter set for mid January 2024. They will likely reveal more details in the next few days.
Lastly, the next installment in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, is approaching soon. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is scheduled for February 29, 2024 exclusively on PlayStation 5 consoles. This remake continues the story directly after the events of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.
