    Hitting the lucky number.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis achieves its most major milestone yet as the mobile RPG crosses 7 million downloads worldwide. All Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis players will receive rewards today to celebrate the lucky number of the Final Fantasy VII franchise.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis launched on September 7 with the promise of monthly story updates with new events, characters, weapons, and rewards. The mobile RPG acts as a faithful remake of the original Final Fantasy VII compilation.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis Hits 7 Million Downloads

Square Enix’s official X (Twitter) account for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis confirms the mobile RPG exceeded 7 million downloads. To celebrate the achievement, all players will receive 1,000 Blue Crystals for free. Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis players may redeem this reward by logging into the game before December 13 at 6:59 a.m. PDT / 9:59 a.m. PDT. Fortunately, new and returning players have a month to redeem these rewards after logging in.

Additionally, Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis players may continue to earn rewards by participating in the active Final Fantasy IX crossover event. The collaboration began just a few days ago on November 9 with Final Fantasy IX-inspired costumes for Cloud and Tifa. Black Waltz appears in the game as a limited-time boss.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is now available on iOS and Android worldwide, and a Steam release is currently in the works. The Steam version has been rated by the ESRB, so a release could be imminent. Moreover, the Steam version will share data with the mobile version, so cross-progression is expected.

Lastly, the next installment in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, will soon arrive. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is scheduled for February 29, 2024 exclusively on PlayStation 5 consoles. This remake continues the story directly after the events of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade by taking Cloud and his party into the vast overworld.
