    Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha & Krillin Screenshots Revealed

    Bandai Namco revealed new screenshots for Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO playable characters Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha and Krillin! These are just four of the playable characters on an “overwhelming” roster according to Bandai Namco. 

    Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO brings a “historic” roster of characters, including newer fan-favorites from Dragon Ball Super. In addition, the game features impressive visuals and dynamic effects rendered in Unreal Engine 5, allowing for in-game weather changes due to ki charging and transformations

    Bandai Namco’s official Dragon Ball Games Twitter account revealed four new screenshots for Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha and Krillin, allowing players to observe the finer details on each character. Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha and Krillin were shown in the latest Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO trailer, which aired during The Game Awards 2023. The newest V Jump issue also revealed more screenshots, but direct-feed screenshots weren’t available until now.

    As previously discussed, Bandai Namco confirms that Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO will have an “overwhelming” number of fighters. The game will have a high number of actions and skills for each character, and the signature Budokai Tenkaichi battle system is improved and refined faster, more engaging action. More character reveals and details are coming soon in 2024.

    Game producer Jun Furutani shared some insight into the game’s development. According to the developer, he observed the Dragon Ball FighterZ eSports scene to identify ways of recreating iconic battles in a similar experience in Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO.

    Dragon Ball fans can expect more updates at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2024 in January 2024. The event will feature news about Dragon Ball FighterZDragon Ball Card GameDragon Ball Legends, and Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle

    Lastly, Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
