    Resident Evil 4 Remake Available Now on Apple Devices

    Available on iPhone 15 Pro models and all iPad and Mac with M-series chips.

    Resident Evil 4 Remake is available now on Apple devices. Capcom has released a launch trailer commemorating the game’s release.

    Capcom initially released Resident Evil 4 Remake on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 24. Critics and fans alike gave the game several rave reviews for being a faithful and exciting remake of the 2005 survival horror classic. In October, Capcom released Resident Evil Village on Apple devices. RE4 Remake will be free-to-play on Apple devices for the first few hours of playtime. Afterward, it will require an in-app purchase.

    Capcom has officially released Resident Evil 4 Remake on Apple devices. Specifically, the game is available on iPhone 15 Pro models and iPads/Macs that utilize an M-series chip. A limited part of the base game will be free. Players must make an in-app purchase in order to play the rest of the game. Additionally, the DLC Separate Ways is also available on Apple devices.     In a press release from Capcom, they state the following:

    Apple users can experience a portion of Resident Evil 4 with a free download before accessing the full campaign with a single purchase. Resident Evil 4 is also debuting on the App Store with a scary-good launch discount. The game is currently 50% off ($29.99 USD) until Jan. 17, 2024. Players who pick up the title before that date will also receive a collection of in-game items as a special bonus. These rewards include “Attaché Case: Gold,” “Attaché Case: Classic,” “Special Charm: Green Herb,” and “Special Charm: Handgun Ammo,” all of which offer unique abilities when equipped.

    Resident Evil 4 supports Universal Purchase, so Apple users can play across iPhone, iPad, and Mac with only one purchase. The game also features cross-progression, allowing players to transfer save data between Apple devices and continue the journey wherever they go. The intense gameplay can be enjoyed with a variety of controllers. The Mac version also includes keyboard and mouse support, while iPhone and iPad offer fully customizable touch controls.

    Resident Evil 4 Remake is available now on Apple devices, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
