Bandai Namco released a new trailer for Tekken 8 highlighting the game’s Ultimate Edition, which is available to pre-order now.
A free Tekken 8 demo is available right now, allowing players to try out the game’s single-player modes before launch. One of the modes available in the demo is “The Dark Awakens” story mode. Players have access to the first chapter of the story mode.

The latest trailer for Tekken 8 recaps all of the contents of the Ultimate Edition, which includes the Deluxe Edition, additional avatar skins (Kazuya, Jin, and Jun), and the avatar costume: Classic Tekken T-Shirt Set. The Deluxe Edition includes all standard items, the Kinjin Avatar skin, and the Playable Character Year 1 Pass. This pass includes four characters released after the game’s launch. Moreover, the Deluxe Edition includes a Gold Suit Pack of playable character costumes for all 32 characters.

Players who don’t want to wait until January may now play the Tekken 8 demo. In the demo, players have access to the first chapter of “The Dark Awakens” story and Arcade Quest. In addition, players may try out Super Ghost Battle after clearing the first chapter of Arcade Quest in the demo. The Versus and Gallery modes are also available with partial access. Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, Paul Phoenix, and Nina Williams are the four playable characters for the Tekken 8 demo. The demo includes the Urban Square (Evening), Yakushima, and Sanctum stages as well. Save data from the demo will not transfer to the full game, and online play is not available in the demo, too.
Lastly, Tekken 8 launches January 26, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Tekken 8 physical and digital pre-orders are now available with new Paul Phoenix avatar costumes as a special bonus. Players may earn exclusive Mokujin and Tetsujin avatar costumes by pre-ordering the PlayStation 5 version.
