HoYoverse revealed some more details about Genshin Impact Version 4.3 involving updated features and functions, including Artifact auto-lock and filter features. These quality of life features will improve the gameplay experience for players in just a few days’ time.

Genshin Impact Version 4.3 releases on December 20 as the game’s last major update of 2023. Version 4.3 includes limited-time events, all-new playable characters, and improved features as players continue their exploration of the Fontaine region.

Genshin Impact Version 4.3 Updated Features

In Genshin Impact Version 4.3, players will be able to use Artifact Auto-Lock features to create custom plans based on their own requirements, such as Main and Minor Affixes. After selecting an Artifact Set, players may click Edit and Create New Plan Settings to make a custom plan and lock Artifacts. Each Artifact Set can have up to two preset plans according to HoYoverse’s HoYoLab post.

Moreover, Version 4.3 includes a feature that will automatically lock 5-star Artifacts that meet a player’s requirements. A “Search Artifacts in Inventory” feature will let players filter Artifacts according to their requirements with a single click. A Quick Unlock feature comes in handy when leveling up Artifacts, since players can unlock all types of a single Artifact in the inventory at once. The new Artifacts Filter function is also self-explanatory. The Genshin Impact development team will continue to monitor feedback from the community for more adjustments to the Artifact system.

It’s worth noting that the Required Resource Package download for Genshin Impact is required on PlayStation 4, since it provides support for Version 4.3 update. The file size is roughly 16.2 GB, and HoYoverse notes that players may find the download by searching for it in the PlayStation Store under “Add-Ons” for Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. HoYoverse is currently developing a Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact.
