HoYoverse’s Genshin Concert 2023 “Melodies of an Endless Journey” will be held on December 22 at 7:00 p.m. (UTC+8) on YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and Twitter. This Genshin Impact online concert will feature performances by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and other international musicians with XR, AR, and animation technology. According to HoYoverse, this combination of technologies allows HoYoverse to convey Genshin Impact’s most memorable cutscenes to life as the orchestra performs.

Genshin Concert 2023 is expected to last roughly 60 minutes with over 25 tracks from Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine. Members of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Robert Ziegler are returning musicians for this year’s iteration. Other musicians and talented singers will lend their talents to the upcoming concert as well. Moreover, HoYoverse confirms that Octopath Traveler series composer Yasunori Nishiki will serve as music director for the entire Genshin Impact concert.

Further, U.S. Genshin Impact Union (USGIU), a collegiate community founded by passionate Genshin Impact players and supported by HoYoverse, is contributing to the concert. The community-based organization will host a series of campus events at several universities and colleges, including Yale University, New York University, Berklee College of Music, University College London, and Royal Academy of Music.

“The music from Genshin Impact combines different genres, elements, instruments and musicians from around the world, and is incorporated very well into a unique fictional world,” said Dr. Piero Scaruffi, Italian-American scholar and educator from a Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in a press release. “It may provide a unique chance for more young people to learn about music without prejudice.”
