Netflix has revealed a new official trailer for the upcoming Yu Yu Hakusho live action adaptation. The series will premiere on the service on December 14.
Yoshihiro Togashi initially wrote and published the Yu Yu Hakusho manga from 1990 to 1994. Viz Media published the series in 2002. From 1992 to 1995, an anime adaptation was created. The series aired on Toonami and is available on both Funimation and Crunchyroll. In October, Netflix revealed more information about the series’ cast, with the first trailer being released in November. The most recent trailer marks the last one before the series premieres next week.
Yu Yu Hakusho New Trailer Released
Netflix has released a new trailer for the Yu Yu Hakusho live action adaptation. The new trailer reveals more of the series’ story and how it adapts the original anime. Yu Yu Hakusho is not Netflix’s first live-action adaptation of a popular anime, however. Over the years, they’ve released Death Note and Cowboy Bebop adaptations. Just recently, Netflix premiered a One Piece live-action series. The show was received well by both fans and critics alike, and a second season is currently in development.
