Epic Games initially released Fortnite as a tower defense game in 2017. Later, the game would gain mileage as one of the first battle royale games ever. It’s reputation comes from the fun combat and collaborations with various media properties. Examples include My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, Dragon Ball, Attack on Titan, Naruto, Star Wars, Marvel, and more. The recent chapter introduces characters from Metal Gear Solid, Family Guy, and teases a later appearance of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
