    Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Sweep the Board Overview Trailer Released

    Releasing April 25 in Japan.

    Aniplex released a new overview trailer for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board, reconfirming the game’s April 25, 2024 release date for Nintendo Switch in Japan. The game’s official Japanese title is Kimetsu no Yaiba Mezase! Saikyō Taishi!

    Just moments removed from the Aniplex Online Fest 2023 event, Aniplex launched a new official Japanese website for Mario Party-inspired Nintendo Switch game, Kimetsu no Yaiba Mezase! Saikyō Taishi!. SEGA also revealed that the game would be released worldwide as Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board. Weekly Jump confirms the April 25 release date for the new game as well.

    The overview trailer for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board introduces the various mini-games and activities that players will experience in the board game-style title. Several characters will be playable such as Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira. Nezuko Kamado will be available as support character as well. The in-game boards are based on various locations from the series, including Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa. A day and night cycle is present as well.

    In Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board!, players will explore a dynamic world designed like a board game. Each board features memorable locations from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, including Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa. As the time-of-day changes from day and night, the spaces of each board changes, bringing new events and opportunities for players to discover as they plan their next move.

    Choose from a cast of fan-favorite characters including Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and 9 Hashiras before engaging in fun, exciting multiplayer action for up to 4 players, either locally or online. Nezuko Kamado will also join in on the fun as a support character. Take on a variety of thrilling mini-games, meet familiar characters, work together to defeat dangerous demons lurking in the night, and aim to become the most powerful demon slayer among the rest!
