HoYoverse announced Honkai Impact 3rd Version 7.1 “Starbound Painter” will be released on December 7. This brand-new update introduces a new SP battlesuit for Griseo, and the main story will continue with Chapter XLII.
Honkai Impact 3rd will receive a major revamp in February 2024 titled Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2. This overhaul will bring a new explorable area on Mars, a new cast of characters, and so much more. Before then, the main story of Honkai Impact 3rd continues with the release of Version 7.1.
Honkai Impact 3rd Version 7.1 Launching Soon
In Honkai Impact 3rd Version 7.1, Griseo will receive her “Cosmic Expression” SD-type support battlesuit, which deals Bleed DMG in battle. She wields a laser saber in battle and leaves a beacon around enemies on the field. The Internal Energy that Griseo uses in battle may be replenished through a number of attacks. If a beacon is placed and Internal Energy is full, Griseo may cast her Special Weapon Skill and her Ultimate, summoning a massive meteor that deals damage within the beacon’s range and physical Bleed DMG. She can raise the team’s overall damage output as a powerful ally as well.
In Story Chapter XLII, players will take on Sa in a new boss fight. Griseo’s paintbrush will help Fu Hua travel through Sa’s storm in order to defeat the boss. Players may control different forms of Fu Hua while Griseo offers her support. Alongside the main story update, the game’s main screens (i.e. bridge, Valkyrie, and prep) will be reworked. The new Valkyrie screen will display different backgrounds, and all the menus will be optimized for convenience.
A new Recommendations tab will be added to the prep screen featuring the current in-game events and main story chapters for Version 7.1. The new lineup screen will include Quick Lineup and improved accessibility, and mobile players can save storage space by deleting unused assets such as voice-over language packs and audio/visual resources for some story chapters.
