Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis to Support up to 4K 120FPS on PC

Plenty of exciting options for Steam players.

Famitsu recently dove into the Steam port of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis and came away with plenty of new information and impressions. Most notably, the port will run at resolutions up to 4K and frame rates up to 120 frames per second. Three frame rate options will be available: 30FPS, 60FPS, and 120FPS.

Ever Crisis was developed by Applibot, Inc. and published by Square Enix. In combat, you utilize different attacks that take time to recharge, similar to the original FFVII. The Steam version of the game will keep combat the same but allow the use of different control inputs. Mobile users will be able to use their save data on the Steam version of the game.

Another notable piece of information that Famitsu shared was that there will be Steam Achievements for Ever Crisis. This is great news if you’re an avid achievement hunter on the platform. There are a total of sixteen available at launch. Additionally, Famitsu stated that the keyboard controls felt better and more comfortable than the touch controls after learning where things are on the keyboard.
