The official Sengoku Youko website reveals the opening and ending theme songs in a new trailer for the upcoming anime series. The trailer also reveals the anime’s cast and crew ahead of the January 10 premiere.
The new Sengoku Youko anime series was announced this past August to much fanfare. This anime will air for three consecutive cours, or three quarters of a year. After nearly three months of waiting, fans can now expect the anime to arrive on January 10.
Sengoku Youko Anime Trailer and Theme Songs
A recent trailer from the anime series’ official website revealed more details about Sengoku Youko, including the OP and ED theme songs. MindaRyn performs the opening theme, “Hibana” (Spark). KEIKO will perform the ending theme, “Yūyami no Uta” (Song of Twilight). Check out the new trailer below:
The anime is produced by studio WHITE FOX with director Masahiro Aizawa at the helm. Script writer Jukki Hanada, character designer Yousuke Okuda, and composer Evan Call are also working on the anime. Once more, Sengoku Youko will run for three consecutive cours featuring the World Reform Siblings and Thousand Demons Chaos story arcs, so fans can expect a lot of episodes.

Satoshi Mizukami’s Sengoku Youko manga series by creator was in serialization from 2007 to 2016. In Sengoku Youko, humans and monsters known as katawara are constantly in conflict. Tama is a katawara that loves humans, and her brother Jinka seems to hate humans despite being one himself. The trio is complete with the fearful swordsman Shinsuke.
The Sengoku Youko anime will premiere on January 10.
