The staff of the currently ongoing anime, Kibō no Chikara ~Otona Precure 23~, has revealed that famed voice actor Masako Nozawa will be making her return to the series. She will play the role of Sanae Yukishiro, Honoka’s grandmother.
Kibō no Chikara ~Otona Precure 23~, or Power of Hope ~Precure Full Bloom~, as it is called in the west, is a spin-off of the Yes! Precure 5 and Yes! Precure 5 Go Go! anime. It features several returning characters from the anime mentioned above, returning as adults. Fans can watch it in its entirety on Crunchyroll.
Masako Nozawa Will Be Returning to the Precure Series
Toei recently revealed that Masako Nozawa will be returning to the Precure franchise with Kibō no Chikara ~Otona Precure 23~, or Power of Hope ~Precure Full Bloom~. She has previously played the character in the first Pretty Cure television anime, the Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart television anime, the Futari wa Pretty Cure: Max Heart movie, and the Futari wa Precure Max Heart 2: Yukizora no Tomodachi movie.
Nozawa is known primarily for her roles in the Dragon Ball franchise. She has voiced Son Goku, Son Gohan, Goku Black, Vegito, and more. She has also voiced characters in Kingdom Hearts, Digimon, and Naruto. Nozawa is one of the most prolific voice actresses of all time.
She will be joining the following cast members:
