The staff for the upcoming anime adaptation of the Re:Monster light novel series have revealed the first details on the series’ opening theme. At the time of writing, a premiere date for the series is still unknown.
Kogitsune Kanekiru began the story of Re:Monster on the Shōsetsu ni Narō website. AlphaPolis published the first light novel volume in 2012 and the ninth Re:Monster volume in 2017. Moreover, AlphaPolis serializes Haruyoshi Kobayakawa’s ongoing monthly manga adaptation on its website. The anime’s staff will reveal more information about the upcoming adaptation, announced in September, in the coming weeks and months.

The staff for the upcoming anime adaptation of Re:Monster have confirmed that Korean group 2PM member Chansung and Japanese hiphop artist AK-69 will perform the series’ opening theme. The song, titled “Into the Fire,” will be created alongside 2AM group member Changmin. They describe the theme as an “energetic song that combines HIPHOP and ROCK.” More details will likely be available soon.
Seven Seas Entertainment is currently publishing the Re:Monster manga. Six volumes are on sale with the seventh and eighth volumes releasing on October 31 and January 23 respectively. The volumes may be purchased physically and digitally.
