Nihon Falcom announced the Ys X: Nordics Original Soundtrack will be released on January 18, 2024 in Japan. The soundtrack will be available physically and digitally.
In Ys X: Nordics, Adol Christin and his trusty companion Dogi head into Obelia Bay for a new adventure. While in Obelia Bay, Adol meets Karja Balta, the daughter of the Balta Navy leader and the game’s heroine. Despite the game not being available in the west, Ys fans may enjoy the original soundtrack release on January 18.
Ys X: Nordics Original Soundtrack
According to Falcom and Famitsu, the Ys X: Nordics Original Soundtrack will include 60 songs across 3 CDs for 3,400 yen (all costs include tax). A “First Edition” will be sold at the Falcom Online Shop for 3,740 yen with a set of illustration cards and Adol & Karja acrylic stands. The digital version will be sold for 2,917 yen, and individual songs will be sold for 139 yen. A high-quality sound version will be sold at 3,148 yen for the album and 231 per song. The soundtrack will be available on various streaming services as well, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
A new Ys X: Nordics demo is available to download right now in the Japanese Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch and the Japanese PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Players have access to content from the game’s prologue all the way through to chapter three. Moreover, save data from the demo transfers over to the full game.
