Nihon Falcom announced a free demo of Ys X: Nordics is now available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in Japan. The demo offers a sample of the main story, which takes place one month after the events of Ys II.
In Ys X: Nordics, Adol Christin and his trusty companion Dogi head into Obelia Bay for a new adventure. While in Obelia Bay, Adol meets Karja Balta, the daughter of the Balta Navy leader and the game’s heroine. Players may set sail with The Sandras ship in order to explore islands, battle monsters and Griegers, and uncover secrets in Obelia Bay.
Ys X: Nordics Demo
The new Ys X: Nordics demo is available to download right now in the Japanese Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch and the Japanese PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Players have access to content from the game’s prologue all the way through to chapter three. This means players may use the game’s many systems, including Mana Actions, ship combat and exploration. Moreover, save data from the demo transfers over to the full game.
Ys X: Nordics launched on September 28 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 with Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean language options. The Chinese and Korean versions are published by Clouded Leopard Entertainment, and a worldwide release has not been announced yet by NIS America, Nihon Falcom’s publishing partner for western releases. However, NIS America is publishing The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki as The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak.
