Like a Dragon Gaiden Trailer Introduces Kazuma Kiryu

    Forced back into the fray.

SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio revealed a new trailer for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name introducing protagonist Kazuma Kiryu. A new plot unfolds as Kiryu is driven back into the underworld he once swore to leave behind long ago.

Kazuma Kiryu becomes a Daidoji Faction agent after the events of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. In a story told before the events of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Kiryu must adapt to his new life away from his family while dealing with the criminal underworld. Kiryu will experience more hardship in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name due to the many challenges that his life now presents.

Final Weapon’s Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name review notes that it’s an incredible game that finally bridges important gaps in the series. The story is essential as a key that leads directly into Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which features Kazuma Kiryu and Ichiban Kasuga as playable characters.

Lastly, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name launches digitally on November 9 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game will be available on day one with Xbox Game Pass.
