Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Trailer Highlights Dondoko Island Activity

    A getaway island adventure.

SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio released a new trailer for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth that highlights the “Happy Resort Dondoko Island” activity. This activity is available after completing a side-story in Chapter 6 of the main story.

In Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Sawashiro informs Ichiban Kasuga that Akane, Ichiban’s biological mother, is still alive in Hawaii. However, Kasuga is quickly drawn into trouble after arriving. This leads to the scene from the initial reveal trailer where Kasuga wakes up on the shores of the beach of Hawaii. Kasuga will have access to several activities after regaining his bearings.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s Happy Resort Dondoko Island

The Happy Resort Dondoko Island is essentially an Animal Crossing-style activity in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Players may gather crafting materials, build and place furniture, go fishing, and complete various objectives for rewards. During the Xbox Partner Preview event, Xbox shared a near 4-minute trailer with gameplay footage for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s Happy Resort DonDoko Island activity.

Watch the new Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth trailer below.

Here’s an overview of the activity, via SEGA:

“Off the shore of Honolulu City lies Dondoko Island, a deserted island full of illegally dumped trash that has the potential to be so much more. With the help from new friends, his trusty baseball bat and other tools, Ichiban can transform the island by cleaning up garbage and recycling those materials into DIY furniture, buildings and more. You can also flex your managerial muscle and open the island’s gates to patrons. The blue Hawaiian sky’s the limit to creating the resort of your dreams on Dondoko Island!”
