Dragonwell Publishing and Nihon Falcom announced that a launch event for the official Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana novel by author Anna Kashina will be held on October 18. The new novel will be available that same day digitally and physically.
2023 marks the fifth anniversary of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana’s English release by NIS America. Fans may celebrate the anniversary year by experiencing the story of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana in a thrilling novel. Further, Dragonwell and Falcom are celebrating the book release with a special launch party.

Overview
When Adol Christin boards the sea liner Lombardia for what he expects to be an easy voyage across the Gaete Sea, he has no idea his journey will end in catastrophe. Shipwrecked on the mysterious Seiren Island along with a handful of other Lombardia survivors, he must face the ancient curse that had haunted Seiren for millennia and find a way to defeat it.
Adol’s search for escape brings his party to the ruins of the ancient civilization of Eternia.
