Netflix released a new official trailer for its Scott Pilgrim Takes Off anime series, which premieres on November 17. The trailer gives fans another glimpse into the animation and story of the Scott Pilgrim anime adaptation.
The new Scott Pilgrim Takes Off anime was originally reported in January 2022 with original creator Bryan Lee O’Malley and producer BenDavid Grabinski at the helm. In March 2023, Netflix confirmed the anime was in production at Japanese studio Science SARU, and an official clip was released just last month.

The upcoming Scott Pilgrim Takes Off anime is a faithful adaptation of the Scott Pilgrim comic book series and live action film. Roughly one month before the premiere, Netflix began to stream a two-minute long trailer during New York Comic Con 2023. This official trailer includes English voice overs from the movie’s original cast along with Japanese subtitles.

Abel Góngora is leading as animation director at Science SARU, and Edgar Wright serves as executive producer. Once more, Bryan Lee O’Malley and BenDavid Grabinski are writing and producing the anime series. The original cast from the popular 2010 Scott Pilgrim vs. the World will return. Additionally, fans can expect a stellar soundtrack by Anamanaguchi, the composer of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game.
