Netflix has revealed the first clip for the upcoming Scott Pilgrim Takes Off anime. The series will premiere on November 17.
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off will adapt Bryan Lee O’Malley’s 2004 comic series titled Scott Pilgrim. In 2010, Edgar Wright directed a film based on the series. The upcoming anime will adapt the original comic, with the movie’s cast members returning to reprise their roles. The latest preview provides a better look at what to expect from the series’ humor and animation style.

The first Scott Pilgrim Takes Off Clip reveals Scott Pilgrim trying to learn more about the “girl of his dreams,” Ramona Flowers. He finds out she has a job as a Netflix DVD Delivery Girl, so he orders a DVD to meet her in person. The preview showcases the art style beautifully crafted by the animation studio Science SARU. There’s also a greater insight into the voices lovingly crafted by the actors from the original movie. Check out the clip below:
