Square Enix announced a Final Fantasy VII Rebirth panel will be held on October 14 at New York Comic Con 2023. Critical Role star and prolific voice actor Matt Mercer will host the show with the English voice cast of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth attending as panelists.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth takes place directly after the events of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade as Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith and Red XIII escape from Midgar to change their destinies. The group joins forces with Yuffie and Cait Sith as they hunt down Sephiroth, a former hero that was once seen as the very image of SOLDIER. An open world awaits, and fans will be able to learn more at New York Comic Con 2023.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Panel at NYCC
The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Panel will take place on October 14 at 3:30 p.m. EDT on the main stage at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. Hosted by Matt Mercer, fans will hear stories and gain insight about Final Fantasy VII Rebirth from the English voice cast. Panelists include Cody Christian (Cloud Strife), John Eric Bentley (Barret Wallace), Britt Baron (Tifa Lockhart), Max Mittelman (Red XIII), and Suzie Yeung (Yuffie Kisaragi). Moreover, Square Enix teases that some surprise guests from Japan will appear.
All panel attendees will receive an exclusive poster featuring characters from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. In addition, a select number of attendees will even have a chance to meet the cast and have their poster signed after the panel. Fans who aren’t able to attend may watch the panel live from Square Enix’s YouTube and Twitch channels.
