Wanderer Character Bio

“After turning 17, life began to feel a bit empty.
He realized that he had no real dreams of his own to chase.
Everyone seemed to have a calling. Except for him.

Even as a kid, he didn’t stand out. However, he always learned fast, watching and imitating the experts as they worked.
While he was decent at any trade he tried, he was never exceptional—a frustrating reality, for he wanted to find something he could devote himself to heart and soul.

Finally, he decided to embark on a journey around the world to find his own path.
The more he met people during his travels, the more he wanted to talk to them. “If only I could ask how they chose their jobs!” he thought.
But in a world without words, all he could do was wonder. Still, he needed to know…

As if guided by a divine hand, the Wanderer eventually found himself standing before the Great Crystal.”

The Wanderer is supposed to be the most balanced option. His attack speed and power set the bar of comparison to the other Adventurers, as they will hit slower, faster, or further than he can. However, his skills offer buffs to his best stats and some good mobility. He’s also such a jack of all trades that he swaps places with other characters in the Base Camp to cover their facility work for them when they want a taste of the limelight.

The Wanderer’s skills focus on minimizing damage received and closing the distance between you and your opponents so that you can always get in and get out.

  • Spin Slash
    • A spin attack that knocks enemies around you.
      • Damage Type: Slashing
      • Cooldown: 6.8s
  • Shield Tackle
    • Bash enemies with your shield to scatter and stun them. Grants temporary invincibility.
      • Damage Type: Blunt
      • Cooldown: 8.2s
  • Iron Wall
    • Temporarily reduces damage taken.
      • Effect Duration: 10.0s
      • Cooldown: 20.0s

• Adventurer
  • Jump Slash
    • Dodge enemy attacks with a big forward jump.
      • Damage Type: Slashing
      • Cooldown: 6.0s
  • Shield Throw
    • Throw your shield at enemies. It will track them and reappear at your side after 2 hits.
      • Damage Type: Blunt
      • Cooldown: 5.0s
  • Antibodies
    • Temporarily increases resistance to all status ailments.
      • Effect Duration: 20.0s
      • Cooldown: 20.0s

• Drifter
  • Air Cutter
    • Release a cutting wave of air in front of you.
      • Damage Type: Slashing
      • Cooldown: 9.9s
  • Shield Counter
    • Put up your shield and reduce damage received. If hit, you will automatically counterattack.
      • Damage Type: Blunt
      • Cooldown: 7.4s
  • Payback
    • Temporarily increase attack power and regain HP depending on damage dealt.
      • Effect Duration 5.0s
      • Cooldown: 30.0s

Wanderer Playstyle

The Wanderer has good defensive and offensive capabilities. His effect abilities bolster his defenses, and his attack skills deal great damage along with some stun or knockback. Many abilities of his negate or avoid incoming damage while also closing the gap between him and his enemies. Attack with your basic attacks, get your defenses up, close in, and unleash your fury. Use proper timing and planning to get the most out of the Wanderer.
