GameBeat has reported that the PC port of Grand Theft Auto VI will release in Q1 2027, just a few months after its launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 5. Rockstar has not yet confirmed the news for itself.
The report comes courtesy of “four industry sources familiar with the studio’s plans, all of whom requested anonymity to avoid damaging business relationships.” In the past, PC ports for Rockstar Games have released years following the console version. In the case of Grand Theft Auto V, it launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2013, and released on PC in April 2015. Red Dead Redemption 2, on the other hand, released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October 2018, and released on PC in November 2019.
Grand Theft Auto VI releases on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and pre-orders are now live. The standard edition of Grand Theft Auto VI will cost $80, while the Ultimate Edition is $100. The physical version of Grand Theft Auto VI will not include a disc and instead, there will be a download code in a box. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, which is comprised of 34 original tracks, will also release on November 19. The album is available to pre-save and pre-order, the latter of which specifically applies to the limited edition vinyl and CD sets.
Recently, Rockstar Games revealed some of the radio stations that will be present in Grand Theft Auto VI. This includes Cocoteo FM, hosted by Bad Bunny and RaiNao, Back Country Radio, hosted by Lana Del Rey and Morgan Wallen, and Afro Bank FM, hosted by Burna Boy and Palms Trax. It also features The Chamber from Kerry King and Tom Araya of Slayer, Flash FM from Robyn and Alex Consani, and Dirty South Classics from Trick Daddy and Trina.
