NACON announced its next generation controller for PC and PlayStation platforms, the all-new Revolution 5 Pro. The new controller natively supports PS5 out of the box in both wired and wireless modes.
The Revolution 5 Pro follows the success of over six million NACON PS4 controllers sold, including 1.6 million sold in the NACON Pro line. The Pro line caters toward millions of competitive gamers around the world, and the Revolution 5 Pro is the controller that any PlayStation and PC gamer may want to consider too.
Revolution 5 Pro Controller for PS4, PS5, and PC
NACON’s Revolution 5 Pro was researched and developed for years with feedback from players and professional gamers. Launching in December 2023, the Revolution 5 Pro is an officially licensed product with native support for PS4, PS5, and PC. Gamers on all three platforms will be able to take advantage of features that give them a fair, competitive edge.
In Bluetooth wireless mode, gamers may enjoy more than 10 hours of gaming on a single charge on the Revolution 5 Pro. Additionally, Bluetooth connectivity allows gamers to connect wireless headphones to the controller. Wired headsets are supported with the included 3.5mm jack. The controller’s multipoint wireless capabilities allows for instant switching between console/PC sound and audio from a Bluetooth peripheral, too.
The asymmetric design of the controller caters toward precision and long-term durability. Revolution 5 Pro’s sticks and triggers eliminate stick drift thanks to the Magnetic Hall effect technology. Moreover, the Trigger Blocker feature lets gamers adapt to different games by adjusting the amplitude of the triggers. The customization features do not end there, however. Gamers may save four profiles per platform, and the controller comes with three sets of weights, three stick sizes, three sets of stick heads, and an external microphone jack.
Further, players may customize their controller settings in a dedication application for PC and Mac. Android and iOS versions of the map will be available in 2024.
Availability
The Revolution 5 Pro from NACON will be available in December 2023 at various U.S. retailers for $199.99. Pre-orders will open this November at Best Buy and GameStop. In the meantime, watch the exciting new reveal trailer below.
