SEGA has released a free content update for Sonic Dream Team featuring costumes for all playable characters and a new Shadow-exclusive level on the corrupted Ego City. Players can use Challenges XP to unlock the costumes through a reward track.
In the new Sonic Dream Team update, players can control Shadow on the new Ego City stage in order to destroy the corruption within it. Moreover, there are more music tracks to unlock from Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Frontiers, and Sonic X Shadow Generations. There’s also new statues, and some bugs have been fixed, including an issue where some players experienced their save files not properly syncing over iCloud on Apple devices

Sonic fans may also dive into Sonic x Shadow Generations, an enhanced remaster featuring all-new content starring Shadow the Hedgehog. Final Weapon recently reviewed the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Sonic X Shadow Generations, noting its incredible visuals and performance on the new platform. Sonic x Shadows Generations is available now for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Lastly, Sonic Dream Team is available now exclusively for Apple Arcade on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro devices.
