In a recent interview, actor Cameron Monaghan confirmed that a new Star Wars Jedi series entry is in early development. The announcement comes just a few days after the series director Stig Asmussen departed EA.
The most recent Star Wars Jedi series entry is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. EA initially released the game on April 28. They recently announced that ports of the game will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One over the next few months. EA will likely confirm more information about the third entry in the series in the next few years.
Star Wars Jedi Third Entry
During a panel at Ocala Comic Con 2023, Cameron Monaghan stated that development on the next entry in the series has begun. His full statement is as follows:
“We’re working on the third. We’re in the process of doing it right now. That’s a big undertaking and there have been some conversations so far. Hopefully when all things are said and done we’ll be able to go in and make something really cool for you guys again.”
Star Wars Jedi Survivor is the most recent title in the series. It is available now on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The official PlayStation Store describes the game:

Lastly, Star Wars: Jedi Survivor will release on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in early 2024. The developers will likely reveal more details on the next game in the series in the next few years.
