    Blue Protocol Launches in Winter for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in Japan

    Bandai Namco announced free-to-play online action RPG Blue Protocol will launch this winter for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in Japan. New details about the upcoming console versions were revealed at Bandai Namco’s Tokyo Game Show 2023 stage event for Blue Protocol.

    This past June, Bandai Namco launched Blue Protocol for PC in Japan. Over 600,000 players accessed the game on launch week while awaiting information for the console versions. Fortunately, Bandai Namco held a Tokyo Game Show 2023 stage event to share an update about the upcoming release. 

    Blue Protocol for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

    Bandai Namco confirms that Blue Protocol for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will support cross-play and cross-save. These features will allow PlayStation, Xbox, and PC gamers to play together and maintain their progress across all platforms. The game is currently slated for a 2023 release for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in Japan. The global version will launch in 2024 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

    • An Epic Journey Through Time – You are on a quest to uncover the truth about your origins. On your travels you meet people from many worlds and make new friends with whom you share your adventures. Eventually, you find yourself facing an inescapable destiny that will determine the fate of planet Regnas.
    • Action-Packed Combat – It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or an advanced player, the action-based combat system features simple controls that are customizable and able to match any playstyle.
    • Deep Customization – Become your ideal self: choose your facial appearance, hairstyle, clothes, accessories, weapons, and mounts for a combination that’s uniquely your personal style.
    • Multiplayer Adventure – Work together as a team with other players to tackle quests, fight boss battles, and engage in massive online raids against towering monsters.
