2023’s 42nd issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine reveals the My Hero Academia anime series will receive a new anime episode titled “UA Heroes Battle”. The new episode will premiere in October as fans await more information about My Hero Academia Season 7.
My Hero Academia Movie 4 was announced in Weekly Shonen Jump this past August, bringing excitement to fans of the anime series. A seventh season of the TV anime is also coming soon, and the My Hero Ultra Rumble game will soon receive a release date at Tokyo Game Show 2023. Fans may also look forward to a special episode of the anime series while waiting on these new My Hero Academia projects.
New My Hero Academia Anime Episode Confirmed
Weekly Shonen Jump confirms that My Hero Academia will receive a new anime episode in theaters across Japan. My Hero Academia UA Heroes Battle will be screened in 10 theaters from October 20 to October 26. The events of the anime episode take place before Season 5’s Endeavor Internship arc, so it will likely not include any scenes from Season 7.
Update – 9/18 at 1:00 p.m. EDT: Crunchyroll confirms the English worldwide premiere of My Hero Academia UA Heroes Battle will be held at New York Comic Con 2023 on October 13 at 8:00 p.m. EDT.
