    The staff for The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 TV anime announced that the new season will premiere on October 6. Fans around the world may stream the series on Crunchyroll.

    The Rising Of The Shield Hero started airing in January 2019, quickly becoming one of the most popular anime of the year. A second season proved to be just as successful, and studio Kinema Citrus is back to animate and produce the third season.

    The Rising Of The Shield Hero Season 3 Joins the Busy Fall Season

    The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 anime announced on Wednesday that the season will premiere on October 6 at 9:00 p.m. JST on Japanese TV station AT-X. Other channels and affiliates will air the anime afterwards. Crunchyroll will simulcast the anime as it airs in Japan. MADKID will perform the opening theme song “SIN”, while Chiai Fujikawa performs the ending theme song “Suki ni Natte wa Ikenai Riyū” (The Reason I Cannot Love You).

    Kinema Citrus will continue to animate the series. Fans may recognize this studio as the producer of the Made In Abyss series. Hitoshi Haga will direct the new season. Keigo Koyanagi will continue to write and supervise the series scripts. Kevin Penkin returns as composer, and Franziska van Wulfen and Sana Komatsu join Masahiro Suwa as character designers. Kōta Sera is now credited for as a collaborative character designer.
