    Genshin Impact Version 4.0 Phase 2 Events Announced

    Version 4.1 expected to release by the end of September.

    Genshin Impact Version 4.0 quickly became one of the game’s most popular updates, and fans may look forward to new events as part of phase 2. Like previous updates, Genshin Impact Version 4.0 is divided into two phases filled with new content.

    As previously discussed, Genshin Impact Version 4.0 continues the main story with the Traveler and Paimon in the new Fontaine region. The duo head into Fontaine to learn more about the Hydro Archon, Focalors, and the story will surely take its twists and turns. Players can expect more new limited-time events, side quests, and much more in the second phase. 

    Genshin Impact Version 4.0 Phase 2 Events

    One of the first Genshin Impact Version 4.0 phase 2 events is a Heated Battle Mode event for Genius Invokation TCG. Starting September 5, Genshin Impact players may summon Zhongli from the reprised Gentry of Hermitage event wish in phase 2 of Version 4.0. Tartaglia will also be available from the reprised Farewell of Snezhnaya event wish that same day. Freminet, Sayu, and Noelle are the featured 4-star characters for the event wishes, which end on September 26. During that same period, the Epitome Invocation event wish will include the Vortex Vanquisher 5-star polearm and 5-star Polar Star bow according to HoYoverse.

    The Verdict of Blades challenge event will be available until September 18 featuring Primogems, Character Talent materials, and other rewards. Players may also use Bresson’s Special Kamera to take photos of sights and scenes in the Studies in Light and Shadow: A Fontaine of Enhancement event from September 14 to 25. Additionally, Ley Line Overflow returns as one of the Genshin Impact Version 4.0 phase 2 events. Genshin Impact Version 4.1 is expected to release near the end of September 2023, so fans can expect more details soon. 

    Finally, Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. HoYoverse is currently developing a Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact.
