Sony Interactive Entertainment have announced a major price increase for PlayStation Plus 12-month subscriptions alongside the upcoming slate of monthly titles for September 2023. For those wanting a 12-month subscription, now may be a good time to find deals while the original price is still active.
Players have until September 4 to redeem August 2023’s lineup of PlayStation Plus monthly games. This month’s lineup includes PGA Tour 2K23 (PS4, PS5), Dreams (PS4), and Death’s Door (PS4, PS5). Two days later, Sony will enact a major price increase to its yearly subscriptions.
PlayStation Plus 12-Month Subscription Price Increase
Starting September 6, PlayStation Plus 12-month subscriptions for the Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers will increase. Essential 12-month subscriptions will be $79.99, Extra 12-month subscriptions will be $134.99, and Premium 12-month subscriptions will be $159.99. The original pricing for Essential, Extra, and Premium 12-month subscriptions were $59.99, $99.99, and $119.99 respectively. For current 12-month subscribers, the price increase will not take effect until the next renewal date that occurs on or after November 6.

September 2023 Monthly Games
Starting September 5, PlayStation Plus subscribers will gain access to Saints Row, Black Desert – Traveler Edition, and Generation Zero. These titles will be available until October 2.

You can also choose to dedicate yourself to a variety of pursuits, such as trade, fishing, horse training, alchemy, cooking, and gathering. The Traveler Edition is a bundle of the base game and multiple add-ons.

PlayStation Plus members who have already purchased any edition of Black Desert cannot redeem the full Traveler Edition bundle from PlayStation Plus.
