    C-Smash VRS Update Adds New Levels, Co-op, and More

    SEGA, RapidEyeMovers, and Wolf & Wood announce a massive update for C-Smash VRS will be released on September 14. The new C-Smash VRS update includes new levels, co-op functionality, new music, and new modes. 

    Starting today, C-Smash VRS is available at a 25% discount worldwide in the PlayStation Store as part of the PlayStation Indies sale. The sale will end on September 14, which is the same day that C-Smash VRS will receive its biggest update yet.

    C-Smash VRS Update Brings New Content

    The developers boast the upcoming content release as the C-Smash VRS “Massive” update. This new update introduces the new Infinity mode, which challenges players to dodge and smash hazards in order to keep the ball in play. Infinity may be enjoyed with another player with co-op, allowing two players to play side-by-side and attempt to reach a new high score. Additionally, the new update includes an AI Bot, which is available across the previously online-only Head-to-head, Firewall and Quickshot modes. AI Bot is available with three difficulty settings: Easy, Medium, and Hard).

    The new update also introduces a new Emote system that allow players to communicate online using rackets as projectors. Players will be able to wave and dance to greet and celebrate with each other. Moreover, the new Stage Select menu will allow players to access every stage in the game and shoot for an A-Rank. Additional new features include Instant Replays, Music Player, and Player Stats.

    Players can also expect over 40 new stages being added to the Journey mode alongside new Block types. Multi-Ball from the original Cosmic Smash makes its return, and the new Portal will teleport balls from one block to another for frantic stage play. Further, a new standalone training level featuring a new original music track by UNKLE – a ‘Reconstruction’ of Ken Ishii’s “Antimatter” – will be available .
