    One Piece Live-Action Netflix Series Shares Final Trailer

    Luffy's journey begins anew.

    It’s almost time for the release of the long awaited One Piece live-action series on Netflix. Ahead of tomorrow’s release, Netflix shared the final trailer for the new One Piece live-action series.

    Previously, Netflix shared a behind the scenes video for the One Piece live-action series. The video shares insight about the production process, and one last trailer prepares fans for the series debut on Netflix in just a day’s time. 

    One Piece Live-Action Series Gets its Final Trailer

    The new trailer sees many of the Straw Hats in action, including Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Nami. Additionally, the trailer provides glimpses of many characters from the anime such as Coby, Shanks, Mihawk and Buggy. This particular trailer is the final one being released by Netflix to  fuel the hype and excitement for the new episodes this Thursday.

    The series is being produced by Tomorrow Studios, and it’s slated to have 8 episodes. It was announced to be in the works in 2017, during the 20th anniversary of the One Piece series. Eichiro Oda, the creator of the One Piece manga, will oversee the production of the live action. The series will cover the East Blue Arc, which is the beginning of the manga and will be about Luffy setting off to the Grand Line and gathering crew members Zoro, Sanji, Nami and Usopp.

    The talented Mexican actor Iñaki Godoy will portray the main character Monkey D.Luffy. Mackenyu plays as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd plays as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson plays as Usopp, and Taz Skylar plays as Sanji.

    August 31 is a big day for anime fans. One Piece will make its debut on Netflix, and the Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2’s Shibuya Incident arc will begin on Crunchyroll.
