Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios announced Forza Motorsport will feature the world-renowned Nürburgring GP track at launch. Pre-orders for Forza Motorsport are also available now with up to five days of early access ahead of the game’s launch.
This past June, Microsoft revealed the October 10 release date for Forza Motorsport with the game’s first official trailer. To celebrate Gamescom 2023 in Germany, Microsoft confirms the Nürburgring GP track will be available, and the 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo S is among one of the many cars players may drive in the new game.
Forza Motorsport Pre-Orders are Live
Starting today, PC gamers may pre-order Forza Motorsport on Steam and play up to 5 days early from October 5 with their Premium Edition purchase. Forza Motorsport Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition players can upgrade to the Premium Add-Ons Bundle to receive early access and all other add-on content included in the Premium Edition. In addition, players may enjoy cross-play for online matchmaking and cross-save, allowing friends to play together across platforms and carry over progress from console to PC. Cross-save also supports achievement unlocks between both versions. Xbox Game Pass owners receive the game at no additional cost on launch day.
In-Game Features
According to Microsoft, the development team optimized Forza Motorsport “to look and play great across a wide range of PCs”. Several technologies and settings are available at the player’s discretion, including real-time ray tracing on-track, NVIDIA DLSS 2 and AMD FSR 2.2 performance features. Moreover, the developers will introduce more optimizations and features through post-launch updates.
Forza Motorsport on PC supports native resolutions up to 4K and beyond, ultrawide resolutions during on-track gameplay, HDR calibration, shader pre-compilation and pre-caching, DirectStorage for improved CPU loading, unlocked single-player framerates with or without V-Sync enabled, and more.
Lastly, Forza Motorsport launches on October 10 for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
